James Smith Dashner is an American author. He has written several bestselling fantasy series including: The 13th Reality series and the Jimmy Fincher Saga. The Maze Runner series continues in The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure and The Kill Order. The current title has been optioned for a movie releasing on 19th September 2014 (In India) by 20th Century Fox.
