Tony Abbott is an American author of children's fiction. Born in 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, it was his father's extensive collection of books that first fired his imagination and inspired in him a love for writing. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in English literature. He has written over 60 books for children, including the Weird Zone series, the Danger Guys series and the hugely popular Secrets of Droon series. Tony Abbott lives in Connecticut with his wife and two daughters and their two dogs.
