About the Author
Meredith Costain grew up on a dairy farm on the Koo Wee Rup swamp in West Gippsland, Victoria. Meredith taught English in Melbourne, travelled the world, played in a few rock and blues bands, and wrote stories, which were published in Pursuit, Challenge, Explore and Comet magazines before she decided to become a full-time writer.
