About the Author
Professor K.R. Sharma, M.Com., Ph.D., joined as Lecturer in higher education in Rajasthan in July 1960 and retiring from Government College, Ajmer in May 1983, joined Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, from where he retired as Professor, Chairman, Faculty of Commerce; Dean, College of Commerce and Management Studies; and Dean, Post Graduate Studies, in July 1999. Thereafter, he was UGC Visiting Professor at Maharishi Dayanand University, Ajmer (August 1999 - July 2000) and Head, Department of Commerce, Mizoram University, Aizawl (July 2002- July 2004). On International assignments sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, he served as Colombo Plan Professor of Business Administration at Institute of Management, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal (October 1986 to November 1987); Professor, Department of Accounting, Auditing, and Income Tax, University of Namibia, Windhoek (November 2010 to December 2013); and Visiting Professor, School of Post Graduate Studies, Kigali University, Kigali, Rwanda (January 8 to March 31, 2017). He has been conferred with Outstanding Researcher Award by Indian Accounting Research Foundation in 2016. He also visits on invitation to universities in India and abroad for guest lectures and seminars.
